The ADHD executive function coach for academics & professionals. Ditch the self-judgment and develop flexible systems that actually work.
See how coaching worksYou’re not lazy. You’re not broken.
and you’re definitely not alone.
Because no matter how much you care about your work (and I know you do), it’s hard to make real progress when you’re stretched thin, second-guessing yourself, and exhausted from trying to keep up with systems that were never designed for your brain.

The real problem isn’t that you need more discipline or willpower—
it’s that traditional productivity advice wasn’t built for the way your brain works.
The trick isn't finding the 'perfect' system.
It's finding your system.
My focus is on how clients can feel good about how they’re living and working.
I believe in sustainable success that respects who you are as a whole person.

My Coaching Philosophy
Let’s stop trying to confine your brilliance in somebody else’s rigid productivity box, and start creating flexible strategies that fit your flow.
All those lines on your CV are meaningless if you feel like crap all the time. I believe in sustainable success and thriving in all areas of life, not just work.
You don’t need someone telling you to “just try harder.” Instead you need knowledgeable insights and creative suggestions from someone who really gets it.
You are a brilliant person – with a brain that sometimes feels like an excited puppy surrounded by squirrels. We just need to get you the right supports in place.

Hi, I’m Taylor Allbright
As a PhD student, I lived in a world of complex, self-directed work where deadlines were distant, expectations were high, and no one was telling me exactly how to get everything done (sound familiar?). I became obsessed with developing my own productivity systems. Pretty soon, other doctoral students began to seek me out, telling me they had heard I was really good at this “designing a system” stuff.
I didn’t know it then, but I was already coaching.
At the same time, I was learning everything I could about mental health, positive psychology, and mindfulness. On a meditation retreat, a teacher began her talk with one simple sentence:
“Nothing is wrong with you.”
She paused, took a breath, then said it again.
“Nothing is wrong with you.”
I burst into tears, and, looking around the room, I saw that I wasn’t the only one.
I realized that, like so many other high achievers, I was caught up in an exhausting cycle of trying to prove my worth through accomplishment – when my true worth already existed, perfect and whole, just waiting to be known.
When I became a professor, I naturally gravitated towards helping my graduate students. Not just with their research, but with the “how” of managing their daunting workloads.
Productivity strategies were important, but it was also crucial to address the emotional overwhelm and imposter syndrome that comes along with doctoral studies.
After meeting my husband and learning that he had ADHD, I realized how much I love the spontaneous energy, quick humor, and creative thinking that comes so naturally to ADHDers. And I saw just how soul-crushing it can be to navigate a neurotypical world without the right supports in place.
Today, I help high-achieving professionals with ADHD ditch the self-judgment, build real self-trust, and develop flexible systems that actually work for them.
My approach is grounded in science and real-world experience — but also in compassion, creativity, and genuine self-acceptance.
Let’s toss the rigid, one-size-fits-all productivity advice and instead find sustainable strategies that allow you to truly thrive.
Ready to work with your brain, not against it?
